We have an active and dynamic team which has established with our clinical teams a series of infection control measures."MP Russell Brown spoke of his concern that the error could have caused alarm to people in the region.Mr Brown said: "I was keen to get immediate assurances from NHS Dumfries and Galloway that fighting hospital infections is a top priority and the chief executive has confirmed that DGRI is meeting the bed spacing guidance contrary to what had been reported.
